Martin T60A Panel Saw
MARTIN have introduced this saw into their product range to give more people a change to experience the MARTIN quality at an affordable price.
- Focused on the basics, but has the capabilities of a premium machine
- Down to its powerful motor, the T60A can handle almost any task
- Manufactured with quality in mind
- Fully adjustable electric scoring unit
- Rip fence which can be adjusted manually according to your preference
The T60A’s standard cross-cut, heavy cast table comes as standard on every T60A. The cross-cut fence can be positioned in the forward or rear position on the crosscut table depending on your preference. In either position the miter angle can be infinitely adjusted to a large scale up to 50°.
Powerful motor
The main blade of the T60A is powered by a 5000rpm 4kW motor. With a maximum blade diameter of 315mm, this machine is protected by a riving knife mounted guard. As an optional extra, you can get the “cutting height” package which contains a stronger motor (5.5 kW) with 3 different rpm settings and an overhead blade guard. The maximum cutting height on the MARTIN T60A is 87.5 mm; with the “cutting height” package, you can cut panels with a thickness of up to 130mm. Saw blades can be replaced within a matter of seconds with the standard “quick-change” system. For tear-out free cuts on veneered or laminated panels, the optional 2-axis scoring saw is on offer.
Operation focused on the essentials
The T60A nicely rounds out the MARTIN saw line. Whilst this machine is focused on offering the essentials, it still offers everything needed for a premium entry-level class saw from MARTIN. Both cutting angle and cutting height can be adjusted electrically via a push-button which has a digital readout showing the exact cutting angle.
High-quality mechanical design
Similar to all of the important mechanical components of the MARTIN saw line, the T60A’s sliding table, cross-cut fence and rip fence work to offer maximum precision and long life. The sliding table is designed exactly how you would expect a MARTIN machine should be: with a replaceable table lip and durable, highly ribbed, hollow chambered aluminum profile. Other key features include the smooth movement of the two stop elements along the cross-cut fence rail.
Electrically adjustable scoring unit
With the T60A system, the scoring position and scoring height can be adjusted quickly and easily via push-button. As is the case with conventional systems, the scoring width is adjusted with shims. Lifting and lowering the unit is done pneumatically. Depending on the task at hand the unit can be switched on and off without losing precious time and the settings can be stored.
Manual rip fence adjustment
On the T60A the rip fence is adjusted manually to a scale. Standard features include a precise fine adjustment and mounting rack for the fence when the fence is removed from the table. The fence’s sophisticated guide system with four grooved ball bearings ensures long-term reliability.
