About the Charnwood W792/3 Professional Dust Extractor – 2200W, 415V, 3 Phase
The Charnwood W792/3 is a powerful industrial dust extraction system designed for professional workshops requiring high-performance dust and chip collection. Powered by a robust 3HP induction motor, it is rated for continuous operation of up to 8 hours per day, making it ideal for demanding commercial environments.
Mounted on a rigid steel frame, the extractor features an elevated inlet port positioned at 1100mm, improving airflow efficiency when ducting is routed overhead or maintained at bench height. Its high airflow capacity makes it suitable for installations where the extractor is positioned away from the dust source and allows multiple machines to be connected via a small ducting network, with extraction available from up to three machines simultaneously.
The motor drives a heavy-duty riveted steel impeller, generating powerful airflow that efficiently captures dust, chips, and shavings into twin collection bags. Both bags fill evenly and can be emptied quickly and easily using the integrated quick-release metal retaining straps. Spring-loaded bag supports simplify replacement, while a foam sealing strip ensures an airtight fit once secured.
As standard, the W792/3 is equipped with ultra-fine 2-micron cloth filter bags, making it suitable for collecting fine dust particles, including MDF dust.

For optimum performance, Charnwood recommends a maximum hose run length of 10 metres using 100mm diameter ducting.
Electrical Requirements
A 415V, 3-phase, 16A electrical supply is required to operate this machine. Charnwood also recommends protection via a 16A Type C circuit breaker.
Please note that extraction hose is not supplied as standard. Charnwood’s 100mm transparent extraction hose is recommended and is available separately by the metre.
A wide range of accessories is also available, including hose reducers for connecting to smaller machine outlets and collection hoods for machinery without dedicated extraction ports.
